USAA has a long track record of providing excellent customer service to military members and their families. Not only does it offer low rates, but you can also sign up for the telematics program, SafePilot, to save up to 30%. That said, it’s important to know that it doesn’t offer custom parts coverage and reserves original equipment manufacturer parts insurance for newer vehicles.

Pros
  • Industry-leading customer satisfaction rating[1]

  • Highly rated mobile apps

Cons
  • Available only to military members and veterans

  • Only available to military members

State Farm offers affordable car insurance rates from a highly rated customer service and claims team, with 19,000 agents. The company also offers a mobile app, which boasts excellent customer reviews, for easy self-management.

But you can’t get gap insurance coverage or accident forgiveness with State Farm, and drivers with an accident on their record may not find the cheapest rates with the insurer.

Pros
  • Above-average customer satisfaction rating

  • Local agents available

Cons
  • Accident forgiveness not available

  • Gap insurance not available

Allstate offers cheap rates and strong discount options, including its Drivewise telematics program and Milewise mileage program. If you’ve added custom parts to your Stinger, Allstate offers coverage options that can help protect those modifications. Cheapest Kia Stinger car insurance for teens and drivers younger than 25

Teen drivers typically pay the highest rates for car insurance, as they’re the age group with the highest risk of car accidents due to inexperience, distracted driving, and other factors.[4] But rates vary by insurer, and some companies offer cheaper rates to young drivers than others.

Here are the cheapest auto insurers for young Kia Stinger owners, according to Compare.com data.

Cheapest Kia Stinger car insurance for seniors

Senior drivers pay lower rates in general because they’re involved in fewer fatal crashes than younger age groups.[3] Not only do seniors benefit from years of experience on the road, but they also drive less than other age groups, which reduces their chances of an accident.

That said, some insurance companies offer even lower rates to senior drivers. Below is a snapshot of the lowest monthly premiums available for senior Kia Stinger drivers, according to Compare.com data.

Deep Dive: What Affects Kia Stinger Car Insurance Rates?

Car insurance rates reflect a mix of a car’s value, features, repair costs, theft rates, and more. Here are some of the key factors that influence Kia Stinger rates.

  • Car value: The 2023 Stinger’s fair market price remains higher than many standard sedans but lower than most luxury performance models. The costs range between $28,000 and $35,000, with the GT-Line costing less.[8]

  • Performance classification: The Stinger’s powerful engine can increase the likelihood of speeding and car accidents. Research also shows that vehicles with turbocharged engines have higher rates of non-crash fire claims.

  • Repair costs: With its turbocharged engine and high-end components, repairing the Stinger can cost more than average.

  • Theft risk: Unlike the Kia Optima, the Stinger doesn’t top the charts for most stolen vehicles.

How to Get Cheaper Car Insurance for Your Kia Stinger

Close up of KIA wheel

No matter your age, driving record, or location, there’s always a way to reduce car insurance premiums. Here are some of the easiest ways to save.

  • Maintain a clean driving record. Even with multiple tickets on your record, maintaining a clean record going forward can help keep future costs low.

  • Raise deductibles. If you can afford a higher out-of-pocket expense, raise your insurance deductibles to lower premiums.

  • Compare rates. Gather car insurance quotes from top companies near the end of your policy term to never miss a chance to save.
